Love your nails.....

Most of us want long, strong and cutely shaped nails. So we opt in for fixing artificial nails. What we don’t know is, these artificial nails have side effects.

Some of the side effects of artificial (acrylic nails)
  •      Chemical compounds (resins or formaldehyde) used in making acrylic nails are harmful to your natural nails underneath and can cause inflammation and burning. It can even separate your natural nail from the skin.
  •    Acrylic nails prevents your natural cuticles from air. This keeps the cuticle moist and bacteria starts to grow. This too can cause inflammation or whit low.
  •   Acrylic nails air really rigid and can cause injuries from the slightest blow. This can cause the natural nail to be affected and pull off. This is really painful and takes the nail a longer time to regrow.
So, now knowing how bad artificial nails for you, why don’t you opt in for growing your natural nails instead?
When opting for natural nails, there are some habits you should stop and habits you should adapt to.

Habits you should stop.

  • You must stop biting your nails. This slows down your nail growth. Bacteria can also be transferred from mouth to nail causing infections.
  • You have to stop using your nails as tools! Your nail is a jewel, not a machine! You need to stop using your nails to peel or open stuffs! They disfigure and harm your nails.
  • STOP using Acrylic nails. They only make your natural nails worse. The good effects of it doesn't last.
  • Stop picking at your cuticles and skin. Sometimes we see a sliver of out nail or skin at the edge of our fingers then you try to pick at it or rip it off. You need to stop doing that! It causes pain and makes your finger prone to bacterial infections. It also make your nail look UGLY.
  • When using nail polish, stop skipping the base and top coat. You might want to skip em because you need the ail polish to dry fast. Well that's wrong, the base coat protects your nails from staining and the top coats keeps the nail polish shiny and makes the manicure last longer. Without the base and top coat, the polish can easily peel off and may peel of with the top layer of your nails.
Habits you should adapt to.

  • You should make sure your nails are clean. This prevents infections, enhance growth and makes your nails look pretty.
  • Dip your hands in lime water once in a while. This makes your nails white and shiny.
  • Trim your nails. In as much as you want your nails to grow, you must also trim it. This keep your nails in a good shape. Trim it to any desired shape.

Follow these steps and you will fall in love with you natural nails!

Inversion method for hair growth

This method is weird but works! All you need is an oil (coconut oil preferably). As I mentioned in my Previous blog  about hair,  the normal pace for an average hair to grow is half an inch a month, but this method helps you grow 0.5-1inch in a week! (That's if you repeat the procedure for seven days). That's so cool right? Method : 1. Take an oil of your preference.(I prefer to use equal quantity of olive oil and coconut oil). 2. Warm it up slightly. Make sure the temperature is just slightly warm. 3. Massage this oil on your scalp with the help of your fingers, gently running it into the roots and hair for 5 mins. 4. Once you are done with the scalp massage, tip your hair upside down gently and let it hang loosely, maintain a steady angle of inversion. 5. The inversion can be done by sitting on a chair or on a couch, or lying down in bed. Maintain any of this position for only  4-5 minutes . 6. After that let the oil sit on the hair for 2 hours or braid your hair fo
